Online Orientation

CFCC utilizes the internet to provide a college orientation to students.  This method allows students to access orientation at a time that is convenient for them, rather than having to attend a specifically scheduled date.

Orientation advisement sessions will still be held on scheduled dates.  These sessions will provide students the opportunity to work with a counselor in scheduling classes and guidance in reading the CFCC schedule.  An actual orientation session is, however, still required, and should be completed online prior to registering for classes.

You must have filled out an application and completed the steps explained on the Getting Started page. If you have completed those steps and are ready to begin orientation:

  • Attend your CFCC Orientation online.
  • an instruction sheet will appear, providing specific information on how to access the orientation.
  • remember, for your orientation, your ID should be your Social Security Number, and your password should be your birth month and day in the MMDD format.  Using this information will allow CFCC to identify you and allow you to get credit for taking the orientation.

You must have an acceptance letter and have test scores and/or transcripts on file before completing orientation and registration.
