| CFCC offers numerous tests for placement and academic achievement. Although the LSC does not administer any of these tests, we are responsible for providing remediation and support.

PLATO is the computer tutorial program accessible through the internet (instructions are below), but students must come into the LSC to have remediation paperwork signed by a supervisor after completing the required number of hours of remediation work.
The LSC does not do individual tutoring for remediation.
Computerized Placement Test (CPT)
The computerized placement test is administered as a means of testing students' levels in English, Reading, Math, and Algebra. Students' scores place them in the correct level of class work. If students are lacking in any academic skills, the CPT scores will place them in preparatory classes to help them master concepts they need to succeed in their college coursework.
